She Kills Monsters focuses on Agnes Evans, a young woman who loses her parents and younger sister in a car accident. Intrigued by the Dungeons and Dragons module that her late sister, Tilly, created, Agnes plays the game for the first time. As she delves deeper into her quest, the fantasy world and reality begin to collide and mix as Agnes searches to connect with Tilly and realizes how much of her sister she never knew.

NARRATOR Rahma Gharib
Rahma Gharib is returning to SMCT for her 4th production! Her first production here was also a readers theatre experience (The Last Days of Judas Iscariot) and it helped her dip her toes gently back into acting and storytelling after several years. She is thrilled to be taking the stage in this format once again and can’t wait for many more. Rahma lives in Santa Maria with her husband Isaiah and her two cats Mishmish and Oliver.
AGNES Krystal Kirk
Krystal is thrilled to be part of She Kills Monsters, following her recent appearance as Lady Macduff in Macbeth with Central Coast Shakespeare Festival . A lifelong lover of theatre, horror, and all things delightfully strange, she feels right at home in a world filled with monsters, magic, and mayhem. She hopes you enjoy the adventure—and remember, sometimes the greatest monsters are the ones we face within ourselves.

CHUCK Ethan Guy
This is Ethan’s second production at Santa Maria Civic Theatre, and cannot wait to bring Chuck to life in front of an audience. His first production at SMCT was as Hot-Blades Harry in Urinetown. When he’s not onstage, he enjoys watching movies, reading books, and being outside. He would also like to thank everyone who has helped him throughout his journey onstage and soon on camera
LILITH Robin LeDoux
Robin is thrilled to be in another show at SMCT, especially one involving D&D. You may have seen them in SMCT's other shows including: last year's reader's theater Stop Kiss, The House at Pooh's Corner, and Urinetown. They hope you enjoy!
ORCUS Garrett Smith
Garrett is excited to debut for SMCT in his first theatrical production in a decade. He has spent the last 14 years performing in the wild world of professional wrestling, and is relieved to return to a form of acting where he gets punched in the face less often.
KALIOPE Abby Alano
Abby Alano is excited to have her first role with Santa Maria Civic Theater as Kaliope. In her free time, she loves to play around with pottery clay and glazes and sleeping at her friend's couches during craft nights. She would like to thank her friends for supporting her and keeping her on track!

MILES Thomas Brown
Thomas Brown rolled his first character while sitting in his 12th grade English class in August of 1990. His character name was Deinodon Lancesis and he was a two-handed sword wielding human ranger. Since then, Thomas has been Dungeon Master for his siblings, his beautiful wife Lesley, his kids, and even hopes to DM for his five grand-kids some day. Thomas dedicates this performance to his late daughter, Morgan Lavaun. Her most recent character was a Bi gnome shape-shifting mushroom sorcerer whose primary tactic in any encounter was seduction. She would love this show
VERA Janelle Steller
Janelle is thrilled to be back on stage in She Kills Monsters after taking a break to embrace her newest and most rewarding role: Mom. A big "thank you" to Aiyani and this stone-cold group of nerds for making this such a fun experience.
FARRAH / EVIL GABBI Alyssa Wallace
Previously in RENT, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, and Urinetown, Alyssa is happy to be back on the SMCT stage. While she plays a bully in the show, in real life she’s pretty nice. Alyssa wants to say thanks to her family for all their support that makes doing theatre as a mom possible!
EVIL TINA Emily Ramirez
Emily has been doing theater for 4 years now, loves the community, and making new friends each show. She also enjoys video games as well as going outdoors.
